dbSpectra Certifies to New ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 Standards
dbSpectra Inc, is proud to announce that we are now ISO 9001:2015 certified AND we have also now attained ISO 14001:2015 certification.
ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS). Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an Environmental Management System (EMS) that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance.
dbSpectra was originally ISO 9001:2000 certified in 2006, and was ISO 9001:2008 certified soon after the new standard was released. ISO 9001:2015 is very much oriented towards Risk Management and Continuous Improvement and last year dbSpectra’s Management Team made the decision to pursue the 2015 certification for both the Quality and Environmental standards.
During a comprehensive re-certification audit by our ANAB accredited registrar, NQA USA, at the beginning of May 2018, dbSpectra showed compliance in all areas of its business and as such has been awarded certification to the new standards.
“The dbSpectra Quality Team has spent the last year updating its documentation and procedures to meet the requirements of the new ISO 9001 standard and have completely implemented a new Environmental Management System. This all helps dbSpectra meet its commitment to provide value and high quality products and services that meet our customers’ needs, while conducting our business in a safe, ethical and environmentally responsible manner.” said Mr Andrew Cartin, CTO, dbSpectra.
